Who We Are
EVLovesNYC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mutual aid, provides food and related services to economically insecure New Yorkers. They started cooking in 2020 in response to growing food insecurity in New York City. Powered by a dedicated volunteer corps, the kitchen has sent more than 620,000 meals for distribution in the city’s most underserved neighborhoods. Their mission expanded in 2022 with the influx of migrants to NYC. They provide support for our newest neighbors, with food, job training, advocacy, and referrals to other agencies.
